GOD'S MESSAGE:

YOUR GUIDE TO HOME WORSHIP:

“Lord, what do You want me to do?” – Acts 9:6

This should be the keynote to the Christian’s life-service. When love comes into the heart it spontaneously expresses itself in service. Saved by faith – faith begets love and love quickens an urge to service. This is a natural sequence, an inevitable process. Sin, salvation, service, the triad of Christian experience.

A tree bears fruit from the fullness of a normal life; it cannot do otherwise; so, the Christian bears the fruit of a consecrated life – a life full of love – he just cannot do otherwise. That fruit is service.

There is a greater need than ever for Christian service and the opportunities are on every hand; daily they are evident; we need but look about us; they are with us – at our every door.

Rev. Sydney E. Bateman, M.D., Sc.D.

MEMORY VERSE OF THE MONTH

“For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord,

and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake.”

2 Corinthians 4:5
